Job Description

Take the next step in your school psychology career working in a dynamic, in-person setting near Orland Park, IL. This contract opportunity supports K-8 students across two locations, with a caseload of approximately 60. You'll provide direct and consultative services, ensuring students receive the support they need for academic and social-emotional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
  • Active Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a school-based setting
  • Demonstrated commitment to core values of educational organizations and advocacy for student success
  • Persistent, solution-oriented mindset focused on individualized student achievement

Responsibilities:

  • Prevent, assess, identify, and support students' academic and social-emotional needs
  • Actively participate on teams such as SPED, 504, and MTSS to facilitate student screening and evaluation
  • Ensure compliance with special education, 504, and MTSS timelines and requirements
  • Serve as a consultant and lead for multi-tiered systems of support, including progress monitoring for Tier 3 students
  • Prepare and present documents/reports within compliance deadlines; participate in 504, IEP, and team meetings
  • Request and manage information from external agencies with proper releases
  • Maintain documentation for services, collaboration, and progress monitoring as required
  • Stay current on evaluation tools and best practices; provide professional development as needed
  • Support communication among school teams, parents, and stakeholders about child development and learning disorders
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to local, state, federal, and organizational regulations

This is a 37.5-hour work week position, delivering essential services in-person to help K-8 students thrive.

Compensation for this position ranges from $44.92 to $64.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
