Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - South Holland, Illinois

Job Description

Step into a fulfilling contract position shaping young lives as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the  school year. This full-time opportunity centers around the Adaptive Behavioral Learning Environment (ABLE) Program, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities.

In this dedicated role, you’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering crucial behavioral and educational interventions at a highly regarded specialized program in a supportive school environment. The position is set at 32.5 hours per week, providing a predictable and balanced weekly schedule. You’ll have the chance to make a genuine difference for students who benefit from individualized plans addressing communication needs, social interaction skills, sensory regulation, and academic growth.

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
  • Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Intellectual Disabilities preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of functional behavior assessment and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Ability to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams, families, and support staff
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop data-driven, individualized intervention plans
  • Provide direct consultation and coaching to staff working within the ABLE program
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes for goal attainment
  • Facilitate training and guidance for school personnel and families on evidence-based ABA strategies
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
