Team Leader​/Food Services

Previous food service experience preferred. Must be comfortable in a hospital setting and be able to read, write and speak English.

Oversees the food service process.  Guides and instructs team members to ensure proper handling of food, safety and customer satisfaction

+ Assures all dishes are clean and put away.

+ Assures all kitchen and cafe areas are clean and organized.

+ Assures room service program standards are maintained.

+ Provides assistance when needed.

** Quality Control*
* + Maintains all departmental quality control logs, cleaning assignments and all paperwork is done, filed and properly reviewed.

+ Participates in writing and reviewing of policies and procedures

+ Resolves day to day patient/family problems and refers unresolved issues to the proper manager in a timely manner

** Position Requirements** :

+ Good verbal and written skills.

+ Certification in food sanitation required.
