Aya Education is seeking a dedicated Travel School Psychologist to join our team, providing vital psychological services across various educational settings. In this role, you will travel to different schools within the district to conduct evaluations, provide counseling, and implement intervention strategies tailored to student needs. This position supports our commitment to delivering exceptional educational experiences by addressing the psycho-educational challenges that can impede student success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational psychology, experience working with diverse student populations, and a passion for enhancing educational outcomes through innovative psychological practices.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to multiple schools to provide psychological assessments and evaluate student emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies and individualized educational plans in collaboration with teachers and parents.
  • Conduct psychological testing and interpret results to inform educational strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed and support schools in managing psychological emergencies.
  • Collaborate with school staff and administration to promote a supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address students' educational and psychological needs.
  • Maintain confidential student records and provide consultation to school personnel on mental health topics.
