Private Duty Caregiver

Lifespace Communities seeks a compassionate Private Duty Caregiver to provide one-on-one support to seniors in our resident-first, mission-driven communities. In this role, you'll assist with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companionship, helping residents maintain dignity, independence, and safety. You'll follow individualized care plans, observe and report changes, and collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one personal care and companionship to senior residents in their homes or community residences
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition, behavior, or safety concerns to nurses or supervisors
• Support medication reminders and follow individualized care plans and safety protocols
• Prepare light meals, assist with feeding, and support hydration per resident preferences and care guidelines
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Offer emotional support, social engagement, and dignified, respectful interaction to enhance quality of life
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and family to ensure coordinated, resident-first care
• Document care activities accurately and timely per community and regulatory standards
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures at all times
