Monitor Technician

Monitor Technicians observes cardiac monitors for rate, rhythm and dysrhythmias.

• Admits and discharges patients from the monitoring system.
• Changes alarms and limits as directed for individual patient monitoring, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Interprets strips of monitor rhythm and posts them on proper chart form.
• Notifies appropriate personnel of alarm situations and changes in rhythm.
• Orders supplies and maintenance/repairs needed for optimal service.
• Serves as a customer service representative and receptionist as needed.
• Supports relationship-based care.

Compensation Estimated Compensation Range $16.94 - $26.26 Pay based on experience
