Monitor Technicians observes cardiac monitors for rate, rhythm and dysrhythmias.
Responsibilities- Admits and discharges patients from the monitoring system.
- Changes alarms and limits as directed for individual patient monitoring, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Interprets strips of monitor rhythm and posts them on proper chart form.
- Notifies appropriate personnel of alarm situations and changes in rhythm.
- Orders supplies and maintenance/repairs needed for optimal service.
- Serves as a customer service representative and receptionist as needed.
- Supports relationship-based care.
- High School (Required)
Compensation Estimated Compensation Range $16.94 - $26.26 Pay based on experience
