You’ll collaborate with the onsite SLP, focusing on students with mild to moderate disabilities, facilitating their progress and growth throughout the school year.

Key

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS 1 endorsement
• Experience or interest in working with middle school students
• Prior exposure to educational or clinical settings, preferably in school-based roles
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to complete district fingerprinting requirements in advance of your start date

Role Details:

• Contract position running from August 19th through May 28th
• Work 2-3 days per week (13-19.5 hours weekly)
• Serve a single middle school campus with a caseload of 15-20 students
• Address a range of mild to moderate communication needs in a supportive environment
• Contribute to ongoing therapy, evaluations, and progress monitoring
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff
• District-provided supervision and resources to help ensure professional success
