Responsibilities- Oversee all spa, salon, and relaxation spaces, including treatment rooms, retail, locker rooms, and relaxation room — ensuring cleanliness, readiness, and alignment with Drift’s luxury standards.
- Select, train, supervise, and inspire associates across massage, esthetics, nails, styling, and guest services. Provide consistent coaching, quarterly evaluations, and weekly check‑ins to foster individual growth and long‑term team success.
- Champion guest satisfaction by addressing concerns gracefully, resolving issues with care, and ensuring every guest leaves with a sense of renewal.
- Collaborate with the CEO and CFO on budgeting, quarterly financial reviews, and revenue strategies. Manage payroll, scheduling, and expenses to maximize productivity and profitability.
- Stay ahead of wellness and beauty trends, evolving service offerings to meet guest expectations while maintaining Drift’s elevated identity.
- Create and implement seasonal promotions, loyalty programs, and wellness events that enhance the guest experience and align with the casino’s dynamic flow of visitors.
- Enforce and refine SOPs to uphold luxury spa and salon standards. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Hollywood Casino leadership on integrated events, cross‑promotions, and guest offerings that bridge the excitement of the casino with the tranquility of the spa.
- Responsible for staff development and training programs.
- Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
- Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees regarding performance.
- Provides recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.
- Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.
- Provides recommendation for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, and counseling).
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or Wellness preferred; relevant spa/hospitality management experience required.
- Proven leadership experience in spa, hotel, resort, or casino environments.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
- Strong organizational and financial management skills with experience in budgeting, payroll, and scheduling.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Knowledge of skincare, beauty, salon, and wellness treatments, with curiosity for emerging industry trends.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Spa Supervisor (CSS), CIDESCO Diploma, or advanced hospitality credentials are highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach associates and resolve guest concerns with clarity and empathy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume hospitality setting while maintaining a focus on luxury, detail, and intentional care.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
