About the Role
VIVO is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle across our organization. In this role, you will be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, helping to build a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR processes run smoothly and in compliance with applicable regulations. WhatYou’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, policies, and workplace concerns
- Administer and maintain employee benefits programs, including open enrollment support
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Support performance management processes, including reviews and documentation
- Assist with the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Help coordinate training and development initiatives
- Support employee engagement and retention efforts, including events and recognition programs
- Assist with investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes as needed
- Process payroll-related documentation and coordinate with payroll/finance as needed
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership review
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) OR
- 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR support role
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP, or equivalent) is a plus
