Overview

The Project & Program Management role is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of large‑scale Data Center builds and retrofits from initiation to delivery, including pioneering AI implementations. The role defines project requirements, performs feasibility and needs/impact assessments, develops detailed project plans, manages implementation processes, and delivers projects on time within budget constraints.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple cross‑functional, technical network deployment projects.
  • Partner with functional teams during initiation, planning, design, procurement, deployment, and post‑deployment phases.
  • Track program milestones, timelines, and overall deliverables.
  • Coordinate asset and material management across data centers and warehouses.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reviews, process documents, and risk analysis.
  • Define project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Drive project lifecycle milestones from concept to closure and advocate change management.
  • Use metrics and KPIs to measure performance and provide regular status updates.
  • Lead internal process improvements, removing gaps across teams and functions.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks.
  • Serve as primary project point of contact for vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage regularly scheduled meetings with core teams.
  • Evaluate post‑project results against metrics and recommend changes to improve delivery practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four‑year college or university and 2‑5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2‑5 years of project management experience in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment, preferably supporting data centers or network hardware.
  • 2+ years of experience with data center life cycles and/or large‑scale networks.
  • Builds productive internal and external working relationships.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Understanding of project management teams, resolving conflict, and meeting schedule timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, documentation).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments concurrently.
  • Self‑starter who quickly learns new tools and processes with minimal assistance.
  • Experience creating spreadsheets, presentation material, and project/process documentation.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to track and report metrics, and manage risks.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate project updates to client executives.
  • Willingness to work across multiple North American time zones (remote or local office).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PPM, CPD, CPMP, etc.
  • Understanding of the OSI model.
  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies.
  • Change management knowledge.
Physical Demand & Work Environment
  • Ability to perform office‑related tasks including prolonged sitting or standing.
  • Ability to move from place to place within an office environment.
  • Proficiency in using a computer.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Salary Range

$92,880.00 - $ USD (base pay only, gross). This range is subject to objective, documented work‑related considerations such as education, experience, certifications, and preferred qualifications.
