Forklift Operator – Build a Shoebox Online (BASBO) – $20/hr – January 19 to Mid-February

Sam Samaritans Purse is seeking experienced forklift operators who are passionate about the proclamation of the gospel to join our Build a Shoebox Online (BASBO) Processing Center Team in Aurora, IL.

As a forklift operator you will help facilitate the processing and preparation of Build a Shoebox Online shoeboxes for distribution to children in need. You will be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, bringing joy to children, families, and communities.

• Load and unload shipping containers and facilitate the efficient movement of materials for processing.
• Maintain safety for volunteers, associates, and products.

• Forklift experience and current forklift certification.
• Ability to lift or move 50 lbs.
• Must be a team player.
• Barcode scanning, inventory, and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes preferred.
• Clean background check and social‑media and pastoral/spiritual mentor references.

• First Shift – 8:00 am to 3:15 pm
• Second Shift – 2:30 pm to 9:30 pm

• Temporary, full‑time – 3 to 4 week project
• Project starts mid‑January
