Warehouse Team Member – Build a Shoebox Online (BASBO)
Pay: $20/hr
Dates: January 19 – Mid-February
Location: Aurora, IL – Samaritan's Purse Midwest Ministry Center
Serve as a Build a Shoebox Associate at Samaritan's Purse, assisting volunteers to process and prepare Build a Shoebox online shoeboxes for distribution to children in need. Your role is a hands‑and‑feet ministry of compassionate service, working daily to bring love and joy to families around the world.
Responsibilities- Station Coach: Lead volunteers in shoebox processing; provide training, guidance, and motivation.
- Dock & Warehouse Worker: Unload and load large boxes containing shoebox gifts; lift up to 60 lbs.
- Prep Associate: Multitask, lift up to 25 lbs, and aid volunteers in preparing shoeboxes for shipment.
Tuesday through Saturday, with both shifts available.
First
Shift: 8:00 am – 3:15 pm
Second Shift: 2:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Background check cleared, including social media review.
- References from pastoral or spiritual mentors.
- Physical ability to lift the required weights.
- Dependable, committed, and eager to serve in a temporary associate position.
Temporary, full‑time Associate role.
Seniority LevelEntry level.
DurationPosition expected to be completed within 3–4 weeks, starting mid‑January.
