Overview
Are you ready to lead and inspire a culture of safety and sustainability?
Our client is seeking a dynamic professional to develop and manage Environmental, Health, and Safety programs at their facility. This role is pivotal in integrating EHS initiatives with business operations to minimize liability and promote sustainability.
Responsibilities- Lead the site EHS safety committee and serve as a key member of the plant Leadership Team.
- Drive the development and enhancement of the EHS Management System.
- Identify and implement EHS best practices through World Class Operations Management.
- Set goals, prioritize needs, and establish systems for performance review and improvement.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to improve safety and minimize environmental impact.
- Conduct EHS inspections and assessments to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate resources to manage legal EHS requirements effectively.
- Maintain necessary records and prepare reports to verify compliance with EHS standards.
- Evaluate new materials and processes to ensure safety and environmental protection.
- Provide training to ensure awareness of corporate and governmental EHS regulations.
- Lead the facility in fostering a high-performance EHS culture.
- Manage incident investigations, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
- Plan and deliver effective EHS training to all personnel and visitors.
- Experience in process improvement, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
- Strong presentation and training skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software.
- Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, or related field preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
