The Development PMO Director leads the Project Management Office for datacenterprojects, ensuring consistent delivery of complex projects, across new builds,expansions,retrofits and tenant fit outs. This role establishes standards and execution discipline while driving schedule, cost, quality, and risk performance across a multi‑billion‑dollar portfolio.

Key Accountabilities PMO Leadership
  • Establish and lead the Development PMO, defining project management standards, tools, methodologies, and controls.
Portfolio Management
  • Oversee a portfolio of datacenter projects including new construction, expansions, retrofits, and tenant fit outs.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, and resource availability.
  • Monitor portfolio health, interdependencies, and critical path risks.
Execution & Delivery Oversight
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to operational readiness standards.
  • Partner with Land Development, Development, Preconstruction, Power Delivery, Engineering, Ops Engineering, IT, Procurement, and Operations teams to drive end‑to‑end execution.
Financial & Risk Management
  • Manage project and portfolio budgets, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
  • Establish cost controls and value management practices.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project and portfolio‑level risks.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
  • Provide executive‑level dashboards and briefings on schedule, cost, risk, and capacity readiness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on delivery strategy.
  • Ensure transparency and consistency in communications across global teams.
Team Development & Scaling
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of project and program managers.
  • Help define roles, career paths, and performance metrics.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Help build company culture where the whole team is more connected and accountable to each other.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in program/project management, with 5+ years in datacenter, infrastructure, or mission‑critical facilities.
  • Proven experience standing up and leading a PMO.
  • Strong understanding of datacenter development, construction, MEP systems, commissioning, and operational handover.

$180,000 - $220,000 a year
