Job Summary
The Insurance Sales Supervisor for Lawyers Professional Liability is responsible for managing a multi‑channel Property and Casualty sales staff to achieve monthly and annual sales goals, maximize profitability while training and developing the sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor, manage, and report activity and production output for all Account Executives to ensure annual sales goals are met or exceeded.
- Manage, coach, train, and provide guidance to the Account Executive team; review and approve time‑off requests and bi‑weekly timecards; assign performance goals; write and deliver performance appraisals and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT and other department managers on system enhancements, implementations, user requirements, system performance monitoring, issue resolution, and system audits.
- Coordinate and manage various Risk Management seminars and Leads program(s).
- Represent the organization at trade shows, conventions, and conferences as needed.
- Coordinate with Marketing to create and distribute new targeted marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate and manage sales initiatives and contests with the Vice President and Managers.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state‑of‑the‑art practices, and participating in professional societies.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
- 3+ years of related professional liability and/or life and health insurance experience with a demonstrated track record of sales or sales leadership success.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface with both technical and business team members at all levels within an organization.
- Property and Casualty insurance license in good standing required.
- Industry professional designations desired (CIC, CPCU, CRM, ARM, CISR).
Pay Range: $55,000 – $65,000 (Annual). In addition to base salary, this role includes a monthly compensation plan.
