Yzer is hiring a Hub Manager II to join our Naperville, IL team reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager, Susan Saldana. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, be able to multi-task, and have a proven track record of managing the operation to achieve business objectives. Mon - Fri - 5AM - 2PM - 40 standard, however additional hours will be necessary based on customer needs.

• Plan, manage and evaluate operations supporting internal/external stakeholders, suppliers, transportation drivers (W2 and Independent Contractors).
• Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance.
• Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
• Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency.
• Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues.
• Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to others.
• Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes in potential new facilities or plants and advise of cost implications and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.
• Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports.
• Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies to ensure system reconciliation.
• Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
• Interpret trends, analyze and review data. Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organization to aid customer service and cost improvements.
• Manage reporting and KPI metrics to drive an effective operation.
