Job Overview

Naperville, IL. Division:
Supply Chain Solutions. Position:
Warehouse Supervisor (Exempt / Salary).

Annual Salary: $65,000.

Schedule:

Mon – Fri, 4pm – 12:30am; overtime may be required on some days. Salary paid twice a month.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations.
  • Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to ensure compliance with company standards and customer service specifications.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, coordinate activities of workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
  • Accountable for site key performance indicators and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with customers on all aspects of operations.
  • Meet regularly with team members individually and collectively to monitor progress, track performance, coach, counsel, and recognize successes.
  • Promote a diversity and inclusion culture and seek opportunities to improve internal processes.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, recommend awards or merit increases, and address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
  • Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations.
  • Implement health, safety and security initiatives and ensure adherence to company rules and policies.
  • Provide orientation for new employees, and lead Hands with necessary information and technology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
  • One year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • DOT regulated compliance essential.
