Project Engineer / Early Career Project Manager - Abatement Services

We are looking for an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to conduct asbestos, lead, and mold abatement and other environmental projects within the Chicagoland area. The role involves estimating, securing, and executing projects, building relationships with clients, and generating $2 million–$4 million in annual revenue when successful.

• Direct and manage project development from inception to closeout (“cradle to grave”).
• Define scope, timeline, and goals for each project and estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project objectives.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their work.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and training sessions.
• Collaborate across Luse service lines and branches to help grow the overall business.

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree (or 2+ years of related work experience).
• OSHA 10/30 Certification and Asbestos/Lead License would be a plus.

• Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
• Managerial, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; computerized estimating a plus.
• Field take‑off skills. Blueprint reading is a plus.

Salary Range: $45,000 – $70,000 plus an established bonus plan. Additional benefits include vehicle mileage reimbursement, medical, optical, and dental insurance, 401‑k participation, profit sharing, life insurance, and generous vacation, holidays, and sick pay. Relocation assistance may be considered for candidates outside the Chicagoland area.
