Overview
Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (full-time/paid) - Aurora, CO at Niagara Bottling.
Niagara Bottling is looking for Team Members who want to contribute to providing our customers with high-quality, affordable bottled water. This entry-level program develops Maintenance Technicians through formal classroom training and on-the-job learning.
Responsibilities- Shadow and learn from Operators, Preventative Maintenance Mechanics, Maintenance Technicians, and Senior Maintenance Technicians
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery as needed
- Assist with maintenance projects and machine rebuilds
- Assist with downed equipment repairs during production shifts as needed
- Research and documentation using a computer
- Work safely and follow written procedures
- Follow company rules, staff, and peers
- Be at work on time based on assigned schedule
- Attend OEM trainings and apply learnings upon returning to the plant (at plant’s discretion)
- Perform on-demand maintenance and repair of equipment in the manufacturing facility
- Complete daily responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor
- Explain and demonstrate accomplishment of learning objectives for each activity in theory and practice

- Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of experience in Maintenance or a similar manufacturing environment (experience may include a combination of work experience and/or vocational technician education) - Travel: 30% may be required
- Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of experience in Maintenance or a similar manufacturing environment (experience may include a combination of work experience and vocational education) - Ability to understand and perform math, geometry, and measurements using a ruler and caliper
- Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and good organization
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Endurance to stand, sit, squat, or reach up to 12 hours per day as required
- Strong attendance, teamwork, and commitment to performance
- Comfortable with computer keyboard and basic computer skills
- Minimum:
High School Diploma or GED - Preferred:
Associate’s Degree in a maintenance-related field
- Required:
Vocational Technical School Certificate in a maintenance-related field - Preferred: N/A
Pay Rate Type:
Hourly
$24.25 - $32.13 / Hour
