Position: Resident Automation Technician II (M/F/D)*

Friday - Monday 5:30a - 4:30p

The Resident Automation Technician II supports our customer on all automation-related topics. This position requires a broad-based electrical and mechanical skillset and a proactive approach to improve the site’s performance through trouble‑shooting and hands‑on repair. Based at our customer sites, the Resident Automation Technician II must represent the TGW image and ensure that a professional relationship with the client is developed and maintained.

What

you’ll be handling
  • Resolve customer equipment issues as quickly and practically as possible.
  • Complete work assignments and the associated work orders as assigned.
  • Complete maintenance activities pertaining to the automated equipment onsite, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, and carton‑opening systems.
  • Adhere to the highest quality standards, while always ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Optimize automation efficiency and performance to ensure delivery of contracted KPIs. Interface with the customer as needed to support operations.
  • Monitor and maintain the site spare parts inventory, as applicable.
What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or Technical Certificate preferred.
  • Previous experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting and repair of material‑handling conveyors, AS/RS, and shuttle systems preferred.
  • Thorough attention to detail and demonstrated problem‑solving ability.

    Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.).
