Warehouse Equipment Operator Shift

Job Summary

Responsible for the safe, effective operation and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and/or electrical equipment in the facilities work environment including but not limited to forklifts, dollies, hand trucks, etc. Responsible for locating, tracking, and resolving "grief" parts—misplaced, damaged, or mismatched items that cause supply chain bottlenecks.

Shift: 6 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday.

• Operate equipment safely during material handling, receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Operate equipment while moving material and while entering/exiting trailers.
• Maintain safety zones and ensure safety of all personnel.
• Verify quantities, parts, destinations, and timing using source documents prior to material movement.
• Operate machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
• Operate and service mechanical, motorized, and/or electrical equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Sit‑down forklift experience preferred.

• Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Lifting, lowering, pushing, or pulling various items of varying weight.
• Work from heights up to 20 feet.
• Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers and other business areas.
• Working knowledge of computerized applications (word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email).
