Job Title: 1st Shift Sit-Down Forklift Operator
Location: North Aurora, IL 60542
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM (Some weekends required)
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in North Aurora, IL. This role is responsible for efficiently handling materials, supporting shipping and receiving operations, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming and outgoing shipments
- Transport materials to designated locations within the facility
- Optimize loads to maximize efficiency and ensure safe handling
- Inspect materials for damage and report any issues
- Identify and report workplace safety hazards
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Adhere to production schedules and workflow requirements
- Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable attendance, including availability for some weekend shifts
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
