Join the Timken Aurora Bearing facility as a Precision Machining Operator and help produce high‑tolerance components on day or afternoon shifts. If you’re hands‑on, detail‑focused, and eager to learn, you’ll thrive here.
Pay: $18.50–$20.50/hr based on experience, plus $1.50/hr shift premium for 2nd shift

From your first part to your final in‑process check, you’ll blend craftsmanship with process control:
Operate and fine‑tune production equipment: presses, laser marker, inkjet, electro‑etch, fit stations, ovens, swage equipment, bore grinders, drill press, mills, and roll threaders.
Read blueprints and verify features: fit, center, stake, stamp, and part identification per print requirements.
Inspect visually and physically using precision gaging such as micrometers, calipers, and other gauges.
When experienced, set machines to specified parameters, run first‑piece parts, make adjustments to meet print characteristics, and complete all documentation for set‑up approval.
Load parts, cycle equipment, and perform in‑process checks at defined intervals—adjusting as needed to maintain quality.
Keep machines running reliably, including monitoring and maintaining proper fluid levels.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm2nd
Shift: 3:30pm–12:00amWe have multiple openings across day and afternoon shifts.
What you bring
High School Diploma or GEDAbility to read and interpret blueprints
Manufacturing and machine operation experience preferred
Comfort using gauges and micrometers preferred
Your toolkit and strengths
Equipment, mechanical, and general troubleshooting skills
Mechanical assembly abilities
Precision measurement and hand metrology proficiency
Precision inspection practices
Machine set‑ups for production runs Meets physical requirements for a manufacturing environment
Clear communication and basic computer skills
Solid shop math and blueprint reading
Experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace manufacturing exposure is a plus Tools and machines you’ll work with Optical comparator
Surface grinder
Manual lathe and vertical lathe
Thread gauges (GO/NO‑GO)
Punch press and press brake
Manual vertical mill (Bridgeport)
