Job Description

We are seeking a Powder Coat Technician to support our finishing operations by ensuring high-quality coating application and efficient paint line performance. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, meeting production goals, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Hours are Monday‑Friday, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm.

Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Good communication skills
Preferred
  • 1+ year of powder coating or industrial painting experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production setting
  • Familiarity with coating quality standards and processes
Key Responsibilities
  • Apply powder coating to parts in a high‑mix, fast‑paced production environment
  • Prepare equipment and parts for color changes between batches
  • Monitor coating quality including appearance, adhesion, and cure
  • Perform basic chemical testing to maintain process standards

    Track and maintain inventory of coating materials
  • Communicate effectively with team members and Paintline leadership
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Support departmental KPIs related to quality and efficiency
  • Assist with other duties as needed
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends
  • Must be physically capable of standing, bending, stooping, gripping, and reaching during an 8+ hour shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance and up to 70 lbs. with assistance (floor to waist, waist to shoulder, above shoulder and head)
  • Must be able to work in non-climate, non-dust-controlled areas
  • Must be able to wear required safety equipment including safety shoes, Tyvek suits, gloves, glasses, and respirators
