Production Associate, Solderer

Westell is seeking a Production Associate to assemble, visually inspect, test, and package through‑hole and surface‑mount subassemblies and mechanical units. The role also includes making minor repairs, modifying and updating subassemblies to the current revision for new products.

• Test procedures
• Rework instructions
• Modification sheets
• Engineering Change Orders
• Assemble components according to layout instructions or prints
• Perform inspections of units for proper assembly, solder issues, missing, reversed, or damaged components
• Test, modify and repair new and used units with through‑hole soldering
• Wire‑wrap cable to electronic terminals
• Perform other duties as requested

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Minimum 3 years electronics production experience strongly preferred
• Previous hand soldering experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, workmanship standards and surface‑mount technology
• Familiarity with use of various hand, air and power tools, and test equipment is helpful
• Must be able to identify electronic components

• Required to sit, stand, bend and walk regularly; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Requires manual dexterity

Salary Range – $19.00 per hour
