Job SummaryThe Blender Operator is responsible for manually lifting and dumping 50lb bags of ingredients into IBCs, adjusting machines, and performing cleaning and documentation tasks. The position works the 3rd shift, 10:00 PM‑6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
Compensation is $21.50 per hour, which includes a $3.00 shift differential. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, FSA, HSA, life & disability insurance, 19 days paid time off, and a 6% 401K match.
Duties and Responsibilities- Operate production/cleaning equipment.
- Repeatedly maneuver up to 55lbs of materials.
- Complete daily production logs and reports, including all Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) forms.
- Verify product integrity during the manufacturing process.
- Perform equipment or product changeovers as designated by the Production Supervisor.
- Ensure the work areas are kept clean and free of debris and foreign material.
- Implement standard operating procedures and job safety.
- Communicate with the immediate production supervisor or plant manager on equipment troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Provide on‑the‑job training for employees.
- Ensure that all quality control checks are being completed and documented.
- Report food safety problems to the production supervisor or authority to initiate action.
- Identify any risk of intentional harm to the facility, personnel, or products and report unauthorized persons to the production supervisor.
- Manage time‑stress related to fast‑paced work and multi‑task requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Liason with other production personnel to ensure that the production plan is being followed.
- Perform safety inspections and be aware of all the safety points on the machines.
- Troubleshoot defects and maintain product quality.
- Understand the differences in powders and perform procedures associated with allergen and flavor cleans.
- Communicate with appropriate leadership if safety or quality issues arise.
- Fill out all documentation correctly and clearly.
- Assist in maintaining/promoting the Safety Culture.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): lab coat, safety shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves.

- Preferred High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred 3+ months of manufacturing experience.
- Food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required.
- Experience in a food environment or consumer product preferred.
- Occasional sitting.
- Lift up to 55 lbs. on a frequent basis from 6 inches off the ground to waist.
- Lift up to 30 lbs. on an occasional basis from waist to shoulder.
- Carry up to 55 lbs. on an occasional basis up to 5 ft.
- Pull a 55lb bag from a height of 60 inches on an occasional basis.
