Production Manager

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, sustainable packaging environment. You will manage production schedules, allocate labor and materials, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets are met. The role oversees frontline supervisors and production teams, drives continuous improvement and lean initiatives, and partners with maintenance, engineering, and quality to reduce downtime and waste.

You'll help build a people-first culture focused on training, performance, and career growth while supporting environmental and cost-efficiency goals across the plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets
• Develop and manage production schedules, labor assignments, and material flow
• Coach, develop, and performance-manage production supervisors and frontline teams
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and downtime
• Monitor and analyze KPIs, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality to resolve process issues
• Support employee training, engagement, and career development programs
