Production Manager

G&W Electric Co. seeks a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations for innovative power grid products. You will oversee production schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets. Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, implementing lean manufacturing practices, monitoring KPIs, and resolving production issues. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams while coaching and developing frontline supervisors and operators in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production operations to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals
• Develop and manage production schedules, staffing, and resource allocation
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and report KPIs, driving corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain to resolve production issues
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate supervisors and production staff
• Optimize workflows, layout, and processes to increase efficiency
• Support new product introductions and process changes on the production floor
• Participate in budgeting, capacity planning, and capital improvement projects
