Team Lead II

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Team Lead II to oversee day-to-day operations in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will coordinate a production team building innovative power grid solutions, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets are met. You will assign work, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and support training and cross-skilling. Partnering closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain, you'll drive continuous improvement, support lean initiatives, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on reliability and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, and production targets
• Assign work, coordinate schedules, and balance labor across production lines
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support skills development
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, 5
• S, and company policies
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain to resolve issues
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the production area
• Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes
• Support training, onboarding, and cross-training of production staff
• Identify and escalate equipment, material, or quality problems promptly
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
