Location: Arlington, TX
Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2+ years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience performing machine setups, changeovers, and machine adjustments
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

• Experience in packaging, printing, converting, or related manufacturing environments
• Experience operating packaging or production equipment
• Experience training or mentoring other operators

Pregis is seeking an experienced Packaging Machine Operator to safely operate and maintain production equipment while meeting quality, productivity, waste, and safety standards. This role is responsible for machine setups, changeovers, troubleshooting, and monitoring production performance to ensure customer requirements and production goals are achieved.

This position also supports the training and development of new operators while contributing to a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment.

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor machine performance, product quality, and production output
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and product changeovers
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and operational issues
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records
• Communicate production issues, material needs, and equipment concerns to leadership
• Assist with training and mentoring new operators as needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures, operating standards, and PPE requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and repetitive motion
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work around moving manufacturing equipment

• Indoor manufacturing environment
• Exposure to moving mechanical equipment
• Noise levels may exceed 85 dB
• Varying heat and humidity conditions
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
