Pay: $24.75/hour

Shift: Day

Schedule: 8 AM to 4 PM;
Monday through Friday

Position Summary: Verifies and keeps records on incoming shipments and prepares items for shipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitors incoming materials, comparing identifying information and counting, weighing and/ormeasuring items to verify accuracy.
• Puts away inbound items.
• Examines incoming materials to ensure that they are intact anddamage-free. Operates lift truck or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist materials to staging areas or rack locations.
• Pulls items for further processing. Determines area and location for transfer of material.
  
  Records all shortages and damages and reports issues to team leader for further investigation.
• Prepares, stages materials for truck loading. Counts and transports materials for customer andintra-company freight. Transports materials, scrap, supplies as needed for manufacturing.
• Coordinates with Machine Operators to ensure that the proper amount of correct material is available at machinery to allow for uninterrupted production.
• Inspect lift (battery or gas) daily and perform maintenance on the vehicle and report any maintenance deficiencies.
• Responsible for transporting pallet covers and pallets from inventory racks and warehouse to production area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of manufacturing, order management, or customer service experience
• Ability to interface effectively with employees, vendors, and customers of all levels.
• Flexibility within a high-performance work environment.
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Able to work without close supervision.
• Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained.
• Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications, SAP, and Sym-ple experience preferred.
