Position

Inpatient General/Non-Invasive Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to assess, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular conditions.
  • Perform patient evaluations, coordinate care transitions, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
  • Schedule:

    average 40 patient-facing hours per week (inpatient).
  • Enhance inpatient access and continuity of care, supporting both acute and long-term management of cardiac patients across the continuum of care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior advanced practice provider experience is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • APRN candidates must hold an Acute Care Certification if performing inpatient work.
Position Requirements – Nurse Practitioner
  • Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process.
  • Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a clinical specialty appropriate to the position.
  • Current certification by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
  • CPR and ACLS certifications.
Position Requirements – Physician Assistant
  • Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program.
  • Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications.

Pay Range: $108,264 - $162,385
