The role is a medical-surgical bedside RN focused on behavioral health within a short‑term assignment. The RN will care for adults in a psychiatric environment, providing nursing care and administering medication as needed.

• Administer long‑acting injectable (LAI) and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) medications.
• Provide bedside nursing care for adults with psychiatric diagnoses.
• Document patient status and progress using Cerner charting system.
• Assist with crisis intervention and de‑escalation when necessary.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience, including psychiatric experience.
• Board certification or training preferred: BLS (required), CPI (preferred), Psychiatric Nursing Certification (preferred).
• Proficient with injection techniques and knowledge of psychiatric medications.
• Must live within 75 miles of the facility (local rate applies).

Call and weekend coverage are not required. The RN may be floated within the facility’s scope as needed. Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policy is required (non‑vaccinated candidates may seek medical or religious exemption).
