Crisis Services Nurse - Part-Time

Overview

Join a Crisis Services team as a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 24/7 mental health and substance use crisis support.

• Conduct nursing assessments for admissions and transfers to crisis and inpatient programs.
• Administer medications, perform point-of-care testing, and respond to medical emergencies.
• Review medical documentation and support client admissions decisions.
• Facilitate medication-related groups and assist clients with medication management.
• Collaborate with team members, participate in meetings, and ensure continuity of care.
• Refer clients to resources and assist with emergency response activities.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing; current Illinois RN license.
• Two years of nursing experience preferred, especially in crisis psychiatric and substance use settings.
• Knowledge of psychiatric and substance use nursing practices, local resources, and medical record management.
• Strong communication, documentation, delegation, and relationship-building skills.
