Wound Care Nurse
Job Summary:
Join our team at Momence Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where we proudly provide quality care with a personal touch. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, promoting wound healing, and improving their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality wound care to residents with complex wounds, including debridement, dressing changes, and other treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Conduct wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Educate and empower residents and their families on wound care and preventive measures
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to provide comprehensive care and promote resident independence
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatments and progress
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve wound care outcomes and resident satisfaction
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of Illinois
- 1-2 years of experience (new graduates welcome to apply)
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of wound care principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Momence Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a full-time, 24/7 healthcare facility in Momence, IL
