- Pay Scale: $34 - $36/hour Compensation based on experience and qualifications
Performs professional public health nursing services while coordinating comprehensive health education, outreach, disease prevention, and health promotion programs throughout the Macoupin County Public Health service area.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED- Current Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Must be current on required immunizations and possess a valid government-issued photo .
- Provide nursing services inclinicsand community settings.
- Administer immunizations, screenings, education, referrals, and follow-up.
- Investigate communicable diseases andparticipatein outbreakresponse.
- Plan, organize, conduct, and evaluate health education programs.
- Coordinate school and community outreach events and health fairs.
- Develop educational materials and public information campaigns.
- Assist with grants, strategic planning, IPLAN activities, and reporting.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and complete required documentation.
- Report suspected child abuse/neglect to DCFS.
