Care Partner / CNA (4 East) – 7:00pm–7:30am

Care Partners assist staff and patients, creating a safe and supportive environment. They perform direct and indirect patient care as directed by RN staff and complete computer charting to maintain accurate patient records.

Hours: 7:00pm–7:30am, weekend and holiday rotation.

• Apply cardiac monitor in alignment with approved policies, procedures, and physician orders.
• Complete assigned tasks in alignment with infection control standards.
• Document and report care delivered to patients under the direct supervision of an RN.
• Obtain and maintain professional knowledge by completing required knowledge and skills through orientation and competency activities specific to the unit, unit‑based in‑service programs, and seeking new clinical learning opportunities.
• Promote a safe environment by maintaining high fall‑risk precautions, skin‑risk precautions, and patient‑specific precautions.
• Promote patient comfort and mobility through ambulation, turning, and repositioning.
• Provide direct age‑appropriate care to patients under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with activities of daily living, perform EKGs, finger‑stick blood sugars, and bladder scans.
• Support relationship‑based care by providing compassionate, holistic care to patients, families, and co‑workers, promoting a safe, caring, and healing environment.

• Active CNA license in the State of Illinois.
• High School diploma (required).
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• CNA or completion of the first semester of an RN program.
• Proficient computer charting skills.
• Capability to perform EKGs, finger‑stick blood sugar checks, and bladder scans.
• Knowledge of infection control standards.

Compensation: $18.68 – $28.95 per hour, based on experience.
