RATE: $15/hour - minimum starting rate

TYPE:
Part-Time/Seasonal

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid Illinois Driver’s License.
• Must have an interest in and the ability to interact with children and adults.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic repair and small hand tools preferred.
• Must have neat appearance, ability to handle crowds, and be polite but firm.
• Must be safety minded and enforce safety rules.
• Must enjoy working outdoors under various weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
• Ability to stand or sit for sustained period while running the ride.
• Will be required to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to work flexible hours with weekends required.

• Under the direction and supervision of the Blackberry Farm Maintenance Manager, the Ride Operator will operate the assigned ride for the carousel, train, and/or hayride areas.
• Perform inspections and minor repairs or report larger concerns to the supervisor.
• Provide quality customer service and maintain a safe and clean environment for patrons.
• This is an at-will position.
