Looking for a Quality Engineer who can conduct inspections on incoming materials, production, and finished products
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Work with engineering department to develop physical testing plans for standard production and special projects.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including reports, process flows, and inspection records.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies and customers.
- Provide training to staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Support product development and validation activities to ensure quality criteria are met.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Applicable, proven experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Preferred:
Experience working with 3D CAE systems such as Creo, Auto Cad, and Solid Edge.
