Immediate Opening for a Quality Engineer (Aurora, IL)

Looking for a Quality Engineer who can conduct inspections on incoming materials, production, and finished products

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
  • Work with engineering department to develop physical testing plans for standard production and special projects.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including reports, process flows, and inspection records.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies and customers.
  • Provide training to staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Support product development and validation activities to ensure quality criteria are met.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Applicable, proven experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Preferred:
    Experience working with 3D CAE systems such as Creo, Auto Cad, and Solid Edge.
