Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) seeks an Engineering Technician III to perform QC testing of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) and related materials across district projects. You will inspect materials, maintain testing equipment, and document results for construction teams.
The role requires two years of college in civil engineering technology or equivalent experience, plus PCC Level I certification. Travel and occasional overtime are expected. Union position with benefits.
