Job Summary
The Quality Control Managerwillberesponsibleforoverseeingandmanagingthequalityassuranceandcontrolprocessesforall PVprojectsforthe Mechanical and Electricalinstallationsintheirassignedregion .Theindividualwillensurethatallprojectsmeetthehigheststandardsofqualityandcomplywithindustryregulations,project specifications,the National Electrical Codeandcompanystandards .
The Quality Control Managerwillprimarilyworkinafieldsettingtoperforminspectionsandensurequalitycontrolstandardsarebeingmetbutmayalsoworkremotelytocompletepaperworkandadminworkasnecessary .
Thisrolewillrequireconstanttravelbetweenmultiplesites,Per Diem Rateswillapplydependingonhomeofrecordandworklocation .

Position Responsibilities and Duties- Developandimplementqualityplansthatalignwith Sun Energy Solar LCC’sQuality Management System ,SESSOPsandcontractrequirementsforeachoftheirprojects.
- Establish,maintain,andcontinuouslyimprovequalitysystemstoensurecompliancewithindustrystandards,regulatory requirements,andcustomerexpectations.
- Monitorprojectquality:
Conductregularinspectionsandauditsofongoingandcompletedprojectstoensureadherencetoqualitystandards,AHJ’srequirements,manufacturersinstallationinstructions,code compliance;identifyingareasforimprovement. - Managequalitycontrolprocesses:
Overseethe testing,inspection,andevaluationofmaterials,components,systemsandprocessesonassignedprojects. - Trainandsupport:
Providedirecttrainingandguidancetoprojectteamsonqualityassuranceandcontrolpractices,Sun Energy Solar ’sQuality
Standardsandreferenceguides,ensuringthatallteammembersunderstandandfollowestablishedprocedures. - Documentandreportfindings:
Maintaindetailedrecordsofqualityinspections,audits,andcorrectiveactions,andprepareregularreportsformanagementandclients. - BecomeproficientintheuseofCXAlloysoftwaretotrainprojectteamsindocumentationprocessesandtoinitiate,reportanddocumentallqualitymattersonprojects.
- Conduct frequent,formalauditsondocumentationcompliance,reporting methods,installation processes/proceduresandmethods,material handling,andvendorproductperformance.
- Continuous improvement:
Identifyopportunitiesforprocessimprovementsandimplementcorrectiveactionstoenhanceoverallprojectqualityandefficiency. - Ensure compliance:
Stayup-to-datewithindustrystandards,regulatory requirements,andbestpracticesand.ensurethatallprojectsadheretorelevantguidelinesand regulations.
- Experience:
Minimumof5yearsofexperienceinqualitymanagement,preferablyinthesolarorrenewableenergyindustry. - Certifications:
QualitymanagementcertificationssuchasASQCertified
Auditor,ISO
9001,Six Sigma,orPMParehighlydesirable. - OSHA
10,30,Journeyman,etc.areallhighlydesirable.
- Strongknowledgeofqualityassuranceandcontrolmethodologies.
- Strongknowledgeofelectricalconstructionandelectricalsafety.
- Experiencewithconstructiondrawingsandinstallationprocedures.
- Excellentanalyticalandproblem-solving skills.
- Effectivecommunicationandinterpersonalskills.
- Proficientinqualitymanagementsoftwareandtools.
- Abilitytoworkaspartofateam.
