Job Description

Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for Abb Vie Interns.

The Cellular Phenotyping team is developing predictive models that utilize various morphological profiling techniques, including Cell Painting and Deep Cell, to predict a wide range of phenotypes. These models have potential applications across several fields, such as optimizing antibody production in manufacturing, predicting clinical outcomes to identify responders and non-responders, and enhancing discovery methods through the comparison of different cell models.

The summer intern will focus on generating morphological data using Deep Cell and Cell Painting. The goal is to validate prediction models and assess their robustness by comparing models that incorporate a single data source (either Cell Painting or Deep Cell) to those that integrate both data sources.
