Job Overview

Portillo’s is seeking a Cashier to provide exceptional service and uphold our values of Family, Greatness, Energy, and Fun.

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Describe menu items and answer any guest questions.
• Take orders and process payments both at the cashier counter and through the drive‑through.
• Work efficiently to keep long lines moving quickly.
• Serve as a team player, helping and serving others.
• Pass out food orders to guests while ensuring accuracy.
• Take catering and take‑out orders over the phone.
• Verify online, catering, and phone orders, accept payment, serve alcoholic beverages (must be 21), and help guests plan special events.

• Base pay: $17.25 per hour.
• $2 per hour for all hours worked after 11pm.
• $2 per hour for work outside in temperatures below 33°F.
• $3 per hour for work on holidays*.
