Role Overview
Sales Support Associate at Coach plays an essential role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and brand‑consistent customer experience at the point of sale and throughout the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and provide personalized assistance.
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and in the local market, including supporting social media engagement.
- Operate the POS accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash/media in compliance with policy.
- Suggest add‑on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted.
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness.
- Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates.
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests confidently, and partner with team or management as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines.
- At least 1 year of previous retail experience (cashier, stock, or comparable sales environment).
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive brands in the marketplace.
- Proficiency with cash register systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet), walkie‑talkie, and reading price/product release sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Schedule flexibility: ability to work nights, weekends, peak busy season, high‑traffic sales days, and public holidays.
- Physical ability to lift at least 25lbs regularly (up to 50lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, and high‑traffic retail days (including, but not limited to, public holidays).
Compensation & Benefits- Base Pay Range $15.00–$19.50 per hour.
