Part-Time Sales Associate Aurora Outlets

Hi there! We are looking to hire several part and full time sales associates for a new retail store opening in November at the Aurora Premium Outlets.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Part-time Sales Associate is the customer service specialist of the store. This role is responsible for exceeding customer expectations by listening to customer needs, finding products that meet those needs, providing in-depth product information about the goods they are interested in, and closing the sale.

• Follow fitting-room standards and assist when needed.
• Act as cashier when required by following cashier protocol.
• Process shipments and ensure all merchandise is represented on the floor in part size runs.
• Assist management with identifying and resolving store issues.
• Provide product and brand knowledge to customers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and notify management of infractions.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts and percentages.
• Ability to stand for long periods, read computer terminals, and push, pull, move, lift, or carry objects of at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver effectively around the sales floor and stockroom, including repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.

• High school diploma or G.E.D., or six months of retail or related experience.

• Average 20 or more hours per week, based on business seasonality.
• Open availability on weekends; religious exemptions will be considered.
