WMAZ, the TEGNA‑owned CBS affiliate in Macon, GA, we’re offering a job‑share Account Executive position. This is a professionally structured opportunity to earn a strong, competitive income while having time for family. You’ll work with an experienced Account Executive, sharing a portfolio of established clients while actively pursuing new business. Together, you’ll drive television and digital revenue.
- Consistently prospect for new revenue using client and category insights
- Upsell current clients across WMAZ’s full product portfolio
- Create custom, solutions‑driven campaigns that meet customer needs across broadcast television, streaming (OTT), and other digital assets
- Build key client relationships by understanding their business needs and competitive landscape
- Partner with Account Managers to provide seamless campaign execution and exceptional customer service
- Strategically use the station’s CRM software to manage activity, pipeline, and forecasts
- Represent 13
WMAZ professionally in the community and with local businesses
- Base salary plus uncapped commissions structured to reward results

- 1–3 years of sales experience
- A proven track record of achieving sales goals and developing new business
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to win
- Strong business acumen with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Creative mindset to develop effective campaigns focused on solving customer needs
- Willingness to learn all aspects of broadcasting and digital advertising to be a confident, credible resource for every client
- Ability to work effectively within a team structure to achieve goals
