Warehouse Security Officer — Full Time — Elwood, IL

Wage: $18.71 /HR

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Perform access control at security entrances and exits
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity
• Provide detailed written reports
• Work in a team environment to ensure site or organizational goals are achieved daily
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
• Strong computer and technology skills required
• Customer service background preferred
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner
• Great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the shift
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgement and appropriate escalation
