Surveillance Security Officer
Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Guard to monitor security systems, detect threats, and maintain safety in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

Location:
Aurora, IL - Schedule:
Three full‑time shifts available
• Shift 1:
Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
Monday through Wednesday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Shift 2:
Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Shift 3:
Wednesday through Sunday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. - Competitive hourly wage of $19.50 per hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

- Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- Valid Illinois PERC certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum age 21 years
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of an extensive screening process
- Strong report‑writing skills
- Excellent visual activity and concentration skills
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus
- State security license, if required
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
