Overnight Retail Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and high risk areas of retail branches and facilities overnight
• Conduct regular patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Operate CCTV and alarm systems, responding promptly to alerts and incidents
• Verify credentials and control access for employees, contractors, and visitors
• Document incidents, prepare detailed security reports, and maintain daily activity logs
• Collaborate with branch staff and management to support safety protocols
• Provide professional customer service and assist customers and staff as needed
• Follow post orders, emergency procedures, and regulatory/security standards
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required
• Participate in ongoing security, safety, and de escalation training
