Position Overview- This position installs, calibrates and repairs precision measuring equipment at customer sites.
- Travel is within 450 miles from your home.
- Sometimes required to take a plane.
- 100% travel Monday–Friday overnight stays.
- Compensation: $65k–$68k plus $700/month car allowance and reimbursed gas.
- Must have reliable vehicle.
- Room for growth to FST 1, 2, 3 and senior.
- 3–6 month training program (home on weekends).

Core Responsibilities- Perform installations, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of assigned product group(s).
- Promote the sale of customer service agreements as appropriate.
- Maintain daily contact with headquarters as per MACFS SOP.
- Maintain contact with customers according to scheduled jobs.
- Train end users in preventive maintenance procedures.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork weekly.
- Email completed work orders and calibration data within 24-72 hours.
- Ensure equipment is in good working condition and calibration standards are up to date.
- Maintain good customer relations and report potential problems.
- Follow MACFS quality management system procedures.
Maintain an up-to-date parts inventory and manage warranty parts. - Conform with all compliance issues related to calibration.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentManufacturing and quality room environment.
Physical DemandsLift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs. Requires bending, squatting, and reaching.
Additional Requirements- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be a US person (LPA or US citizen).
Full-time. Monday – Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
TravelUp to 100% travel. Up to 8 hours daily driving.
RequiredEducation and Experience
Education equivalent to four years of college. Two years’ experience.
